A friend asked me to come out with a logo for his own apparel. He came with a very lousy briefing and explanation about the word moan to me last week. But, but but I do appreciate the simple idea behind the name itself. Har har!

“POSC” (2010)

Identity for Palm Oil Shorties Competition organized by Friedchillies Media, a campaign to raise awareness of palm oil usage and benefits. The approach for this campaign is through shorties competition, where everyone can submit short film, animation or short documentary about palm oil’s sustainability and its advantages for society. 

“sembilan:pagi” (2009)

Quoted the man itself, sembilan:pagi is a oneself egoistic project experimental band. It is formed by a good friend of mine, Edho who started this band quite long time ago. This layout is an initial design for his EP/album, which still needs fixture in some parts.

“Poppies” (2007)

A set of signage made for Poppies Bookstore. Just like another retail business, one of the important needs to make people comfortable inside is the signage system. Signage is defined as something that suggests the presence or existence of a fact, condition, or quality, which used to convey an idea, a desire, information, or a command.

In some retail industries, the usage of signs is really helpful, as one way to communicate with other people and to inform what is there to be known by them. Since the place is arranged like big house with scattered books all over, signage system is important to function as directories. Signage system has to be designed well and noticeable, so people can get the message and understand it.

There are 12 (twelve) signages which are giving direction to information counter, reading room, book sections (arts, photography, fashion, and general interests), washrooms, music corner, stationary booth, cafe, and cashier.
